A few things worth saying about how this site can be used.
What's mine
The artwork, photographs, essays, book extracts, and other writing on this site are mine. © Adam Geczy. Most of it has been published or exhibited elsewhere as well, sometimes under licence to galleries, publishers, or magazines. Treat it accordingly.
What you can do
Read the site. Share links to any page — that's what they're for. Quote short passages from essays for review, scholarship, or journalism in the usual way, with a credit. Get in touch if you'd like to do something more.
What you can't do
Copy, republish, or print the artwork or writing without permission. Use anything from the site for commercial purposes without asking. Strip credits or pass any of the work off as your own. Use the contents to train an AI model.
Reuse and licensing
If you want to publish, reproduce, exhibit, or quote at length, email me at hello@adamgeczy.com. Most reasonable requests get a reasonable answer.
Linking out
The site occasionally links to other places — galleries, publishers, magazines, collaborators. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for what you find there.
No warranty
I keep the site as accurate as I can, but I make no guarantees. Information about exhibitions, publications, and works is current to the best of my knowledge but can change.
Changes
I may update these terms over time. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you're fine with the current version.
Governing law
I'm based in Sydney, Australia. Any disputes about this site fall under New South Wales law.
