A series of interconnected installations across the entire gallery spaces dealing with fatherhood and the vulnerability of children.
On becoming a father in 2005 I began to have a very different perspective on manhood and the vulnerability of children. I became conscious of what I would be capable of doing if my child was under threat. Across five spaces, this work is a dark exploration of the worst that can befall children and our worst fears. The installations are like narrative segments that connote both horror cinema and a carnival chamber of horrors.
