In collaboration with Markela Panegyres, this is a film about a Pierrot who pokes at a strangely automaton-like young woman.

This is part of a large series of works I have done with clowns, dolls, and automata. Markela was a former student of mine and a gifted performance and video artist. The boy is my younger son, Julian. We dressed the two up and placed them in a studio with several directives. A strange rapport develops between the two actors that is both humorous and uncanny.
